The subscription grants the holder the right to receive a new software version free of charge.
The software maker has an obligation to release a new version of the software each year.
The subscription is linked to a specific software license held by the user.
Depending on the user’s request, the subscription period can be 1 year, 2 years or 3 years.
Subscriptions for different periods of validity grant their holders the right to receive consecutively released software versions as long as the subscription remains in effect.
The subscription commences on the date when the software maker confirms the subscription purchase order.
If, during the subscription period, the software maker fails to release a new software version (force majeure) and the subscription has expired, the software license remains eligible to receive a new software version in future.
The subscription may be purchased together with the software license or separately for the user’s current software license for which subscription has not been yet obtained.
A valid software license subscription may be renewed if less than 90 days remain before its expiration.
The start date of the renewal of the valid subscription is from the expiry date of the valid subscription.
The renewal price for the valid subscription is the same as the price of the subscription.
The expired software license subscription may also be renewed.
The start date of the renewal of the expired license is from the expiry date of the expired subscription.
The renewal of the expired subscription may be purchased within a year after the expiry date of the expired subscription until the date the software maker releases a new software version.
The renewal price for the expired subscription is the same as the price of the expired subscription.
If the expired subscription is not renewed within 30 days of the date of it expiry, the price of the expired subscription shall be higher than the previous price of the expired subscription.
Only those users shall receive a new software version who have a valid subscription for their design software license at the time of the release of the new software version (Except clause 7 of the section entitled THE ESSENCE OF THE SUBCRIPTION AND ITS BENEFITS TO THE HOLDER).
The user who does not have a valid subscription for the earlier software version license at the time of the release of the new software version, may also receive a new design software version by purchasing an upgrade to the earlier software version.
The upgrade to the earlier software version may be purchased together with or without a subscription.
The price of the upgrade to the earlier software version is lower than the price of the new software version but higher than the price of subscription.
